Calgary - Was it deliberate or an oversight? Whatever the case, the management of Calgary Laboratory Services (CLS) and the Calgary Regional Health Authority (CRHA) has changed its accounting numbers. Statements expressing the early costs of laboratory services in the Calgary region have been revised without public explanation. The revised numbers give an appearance of increased savings under the restructured lab system known as CLS. CLS is a partnership between the Calgary Regional Health Authority and MDS/Kasper which began operating in November, 1996.
