Los Angeles - Watching Monika Schloder as she teaches is a tiring experience. She jumps, she skips, she runs, she waves her arms, she uses dramatics. This 58-year old athlete, a former West German elite swimmer, is at Los Angeles Southwest College. She has come here every summer since 1992 from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she is a professor in Sport Sociology at the University of Calgary. |
