In
the autumn of 1999, Canadian artist Larisa Sembaliuk Cheladyn launched
an exhibition in Edmonton, Canada, called 'Flowers of the Bible'.
NetNews Inc. produced a report on Larisa and the origin of her
idea to paint 24 works of art, illustrating flowers and plants depicted
in the Bible. The report also explains how a community of support enabled
the project to take life, and how Larisa's faith was nurtured in the
three and half years that she dedicated to its completion. In 2000,
'Flowers of the Bible' tours to nine Canadian cities.In 2001,
the show will tour London - England, Istanbul, Athens, Geneva and Rome.

Barbara
Dacks is a well-known Western Canadian freelance writer. One of her
latest stories of international appeal focuses on an amazing new palaeontology
discovery in Alberta, near he U.S. A. border. The story reveals new
scientific evidence about extinct animals that roamed the southwestern
part of the Province of Alberta at the end of the Ice Age, more than
11,000 years ago. The evidence also presents information about early
hunters who shared the environment of these phenomenal creatures. Barbara's
